Tickets & Hours
Admission to the Museum is good for two consecutive days. The admission includes all exhibits and special programs in the Museum.
This year we will offer programs about wild land fires and the Yellowstone Fires of 1988 conducted by retired smokejumpers. These programs are in collaboration with the Yellowstone Nature Connection organization.
We will have Yellowstone National Park ranger-led programs.
We will have guided walking tours conducted by museum staff.

Admissions also includes he films in the Museum that play throughout the day. In 2026, the Museum of the Yellowstone will be showing the following films:

The Museum of the Yellowstone is a member of “Museums for ALL”, an initiative of the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
We offer free admission to any bearer of a state-issued SNAP EBT card or a Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) card with valid photo ID.
